We are proud to have a diverse group of software executives, consulting, and insurance professionals as part of the Systema team. Meet some members of the team.

  • Jose Tribuzio

    Jose began his career at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) working on diverse projects for the financial, telecom, and transportation industries with clients including Delta Airlines, Pacific Bell, and Banco Frances. He then continued his software career managing web development projects for Proxicom. Prior to founding Systema Software, he started a multi-national consulting company helping organizations such as Prudential California and Airtel with their web development projects. Since 2001, Jose has been focusing solely in software solutions for the Insurance industry.


    When asked about his vision and goals for SIMS Claims™, Jose responds, "I am excited to offer to the industry an alternative to the current vendor solutions on the market. SIMS Claims™ is not only a robust, elegant, and visually appealing system, it offers clients a great combination of value, flexibility and functionality previously unavailable in a commercial off-the-shelf insurance claims solution.

  • Brian Mack - Sales

    Brian has over 20 years of sales and marketing experience in insurance software. Prior to Systema Software, Brian was vice president of sales and marketing at Valley Oak Systems, which was acquired by Aon eSolutions. After the acquisition, Brian served on the executive committee spearheading the integration of Valley Oak Systems into Aon eSolutions, and he continued to increase product sales. During his overall tenure at Valley Oak Systems, Brian grew sales more than 21 fold over seven years and correspondingly expanded the sales and marketing team. Prior to Valley Oak Systems, Brian was the director of product sales for Data Executives International, Inc., managing sales of an underwriting application to life insurance carriers. He also held sales positions at Alexander & Alexander, Inc., responsible for the sales of a risk management information system (RMIS), and Marathon Systems, where he coordinated sales for a claims administration system.


  • Tom Jaspering - Development

    Tom has over 15 years of experience in all aspects of software development. He developed technology solutions across a wide spectrum of businesses encompassing the Television, Real Estate, Medical Care, Food Service, Gaming, Human Resources, and Insurance industries. Tom has worked with companies both large and small including industry leaders like Microsoft, Prudential, Berkshire Hathaway, the California Health Care Foundation, the Packard Foundation, and CompUSA. As an early member of Systema Software, he has been instrumental in fostering a company that provides best-of-breed products while offering world-class customer service. Tom is proud to have served aboard the submarine USS Portsmouth (SSN-707) as a Laboratory Technician during his five years in the US Navy. While not at work, Tom enjoys youth sports, bicycling, and kayaking.

  • Kate Taylor – Quality Assurance

    Kate has significant experience in all aspects of software development. After 10 years with Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) where she went from hands-on developing to overseeing large-scale implementations, Kate moved on to be the Director of Engineering at a Cygent, which was subsequently bought by Convergys. After leaving Convergys, Kate did freelance consulting for the FBI and other clients. Now as part of Systema Software for three years, Kate enjoys being part of a team delivering the highest quality product. When she's not at work, Kate raises her two sons with her husband and helps run her local PTA.

  • Rory Haynie - Development

    Rory achieved a BBA in Computer Information Systems from Texas State University. After graduation, he joined a development team to build and maintain a secure membership portal for Young Presidents' Organizations. At YPO, Rory was given the title of Software Engineer and was responsible for numerous web-based projects. Rory has since relocated to San Francisco, California to advance in his career with Systema. He is proud of his role in a growing company and their remarkable software.

  • Kenny Popst - Implementations

    Kenny has over 12 years of software implementation, administration, and support experience. When he was at Valley Oak Systems and Catholic Healthcare West, Kenny managed the successful implementations of multiple claims, risk, and patient safety systems. As a member of the Systema team, Kenny coordinates and manages all aspects of the SIMS Claims™ implementation from project kickoff to go-live. As a solution-oriented, team player, Kenny ensures successful implementations. Besides his outdoor hobbies, Kenny enjoys spending time in the Sierra Nevada foothills with his wife and two children.
